The Adventure Continues
Before I moved out to Chicago, I figured I would live here for two or three years. Once I got here, I decided it would probably only last until the start of next winter. I never thought I would be leaving after only four months—four amazing months at that. But I am leaving, four months after moving out here; after surviving winter. I’m opting out of summer.
I’m not leaving because I want to, however. I’m leaving because I need to. I’ve got a few things to take care of, and it’s easier to do it in Colorado than anywhere else. So I’m coming home—sort of. It’s not a permanent move, and I’m moving to Denver instead of the Springs, but it’s back home nonetheless. I’ll be back in the next couple of weeks.
Chicago has been good to me, and I’ve made a few amazing friends. I’ve really loved being here, and if not for the winters, I’d probably come back and stay forever. Instead, I’ll just visit during the good times of the year.
What happens after this, I don’t know. I don’t plan to stay in Colorado for too long, but then again, I didn’t plan to leave Chicago so soon. The adventure continues …
