voxx.io, a digital jukebox, took top honors at Philadelphia Startup Weekend 4.0, beating out 11 other teams at the popular event, during which attendees aim to build a startup in a weekend.
The six-person voxx.io team was lead by Josh Hudnall, an iOS app developer for a call routing software company who actually flew in from Denver to compete in the event. He says he wants to continue working on voxx.io, a digital jukebox that would partner with bars, restaurants and shops to allow consumers to influence the music playing inside.
